Default AN UPDATE FROM LELANDS

Posted By: Ron Rolleri

Just wanted to quickly let everyone know about some of the cool things that are happening over here at Lelands. First, as some of you may know, Lelands has teamed up with the St. Louis Cardinals to present the Busch Stadium Farewell Auction. This auction is live right now, and includes over 380 unique items from the recently-demolished Busch Stadium. Among the lots are autographed lockers with nameplates, clubhouse chairs, player jerseys and equipment, bases, Fredbird's car and even a urinal from the Cardinals' clubhouse. The auction is live right now on www.lelands.com, and will close on Wednesday, November 23.

In addition, Lelands' Winter 2005 Sports and Americana Auction is also now live. We are offering a wide assortment of great lots, including the 1941 Heisman Trophy awarded to the University of Minnesota's Bruce Smith, and the bat Babe Ruth used to launch his 52nd home run in 1921. Also featured are Wayne Gretzky's first Edmonton Oilers contract (signed on his 18th birthday), and a baseball dually signed by both Babe Ruth (9/10) and Lou Gehrig (8.5/10). Of course, there are lots of great cards.

Catalogs will be available by the end of November, but the auction is now live on www.lelands.com. It will close on December 15 and 16. For registration and other information, visit our web site.

Good luck to all!!!
