Default 1939 Charlie Keller Exhibit Card - Authentic?

Hey guys -

I just purchased a 1939 Salutation Exhibit Card of Charlie Keller. It's a nice card, but I'm a little concerned about whether or not it could be a reprint.

The front of the card feels slightly sheen, although not as sheen as the reproduction of let's say a vintage Topps card.

The back is not white, but is I would say off-white.

Here are a couple of pics.

Any opinions?

Sorry that they came out sideways.

It's good. Exhibit backs are cream color not white.

Corner wear like that, and what appears to be old dense cardboard, just cannot be faked by any process I know of. It's real.

Thanks for the responses guys. I know that these cards were issued over a long period of time. The only other exhibit card I have is of Adolph Luque which is supposed to be from 1928. The cardboard is a little thicker and I feel like the texture of the front has a little more grist to it.

You're probably right, in that it is an original.

If you scroll down 13 posts in this thread, they talk about fakes (reprints). They talk about the white and gray backs being fake and the cream color being original.
