Welcome to the Dark Side, young Jedi...

You have the most expensive one already so the rest of the set should be easy sledding. Those are especially nice looking examples.

You got the 4 most expensive ones, so you’re good to finish easily now. Always love to see these, beautiful cards. I just picked up a Langford myself, the no text back. Yours looks a lot nicer!

ooohhh, Kopecs...nice. Don't recall the last time I saw a decent group of those offered up.

I don’t know how much tougher the Kopecs are than the Pets. After ~6 months I’m up to a whopping 4 cards of each back. This will be a very long run I don’t complete, but like we’ve talked about before the great detail in the images makes them worth it. Beautiful set, I wish they were common.

Fitzsimmons was a great boxer, but most of his cards are not very appealing. I guess when you do the math He would have been in his mid to late 40’s when the card was released.

His Newsboy/Campbell/Boston Herald image is decent

I must concur. His T220 gives an image of his back even... T229 is a beautiful set, this isn't a beautiful card. Neither is Corbett really, Papke is a nice one.

Thanks! When I said "What have I started?" I was referring to boxing cards in general, not the T9s. Because... well, I took a BIG step towards the Dark Side. Boxing cards #1 to 26 came all at once for me. I only posted the big four earlier, but I've just finished scanning them all, here's the rest.

Here is a link to my new T9 album in Flickr if you want to see the high rez scans. My T9 set

I just want to say that this thread is awesome! Thanks to everyone for sharing your amazing cards. T218, T220, T226, the E cards, etc., they're all beautiful! The best part about stepping into this world for me has been learning about the turn-of-the-century boxers in the T9 set. I knew I was in trouble when I bid on and won a T218 Jeffries about a week after I got my T9s. I'm going to be taking a close look at the Jeffries barn the next time I'm at Knotts Berry Farm.
