Today; May 6, 1937 Zeppelin Hindenburg Airship Went DOWN!
German Zeppelin Hindenburg burst into flames, as it nosed toward the the Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, NJ, on May 6, 1937. It was approximately 7:25 pm. The airship was still some 200 feet above the ground.
