Need Help with Authentication

Hi there, this is my first post. I bought a pretty large collection of vintage cards from a guy a few days ago and I saw a couple of cards which I lack the experience to say if they are real or not. Due to the rarity of the cards I am guessing reprints, but I wanted to run them by some people before I make that judgement. Theres a D304 Cobb and a Delong Gehrig. Let me know what you think. without a question not real, you should invest in a loop, it will help you understand why they are both reprints

Jimmy i am not an avid collector of cards, more so on the memorabilia side, just wondering what a loop is?

I guess you can tie a loop around your loupe so that you won't lose it.

But seriously, loupe is one of those words I heard for a long time before learning how it's spelled. Unlike Lajoie and Goudey, which I read in various publications for a long time before learning how they are pronounced.

Or you could bend your loupe into a loop for easier storage?

A loupe is a small magnifying glass that jewelers commonly use to evaluate precious materials. The easiest way to spot reprints is by looking at the way in which the card was printed (which is of course where the loupe comes in). Modern printing techniques are very different than those employed by the original card manufacturers.
