This will be held at the Fort Washington Expo Center. Is this the Fort Washington show or is this a different group? Is there a Firt Washington show anytime soon?
Confused....

WOW !!!

I didn't think they would go out of the Philly area...

It actually is easier logistically for collectors coming from Western PA, Virginia, DC, and Baltimore because there is less traffic & fewer tolls. We will see if the show draws collectors, though !!!

Can't believe they picked a site so far away.

Its now a 2+ hour treck for me.

I will probably go in December... but I am guessing I will only go once a year now.

Apparently they can't have it in Philadelphia proper, since the city requires dealers to pay sales tax. Hope this doesn't kill the show, there are so few left.

Good fishing in Reading on the Tully, maybe not in December. It's a pretty drive from Philly, not all that bad.

This show was 10 minutes from my house. I was so close I went back and forth a few times in one day.

Now it is close to 2 hours. Honestly it really seems like the best show around so I will be there as often as I can.

I miss this show already.

Well since i literally live 5-10 minutes from the site of the new show I am as happy as can be. anyone with questions of the area i'll be glad to answer them for you. the locals wont add anything to the show but it will be awesome to have this great show in my hometown.

I had always heard that next to the National, this was the best show to go to for prewar collectors. Is that the case? If you were going to make one show a year, other than National, would this be the one? I am wondering if the same dealers will make the trek to this show. Any thoughts?

If you want to know the truth, it's like a miniature version of the national -about 1/3 the size. I can't wait for early December's show !!!

Alan- One dealer told me the great thing about Fort Washington shows was that if you took the National and eliminated the Playboy bunnies, and refractor cards, you had about the same lineup of prewar stuff as at national (roughly speaking). Do you find this to be true?
