Wow that’s pretty cool . I am sure there are not many out there . Who is going to be the toughest to find ? Most expensive ? My guess for most expensive is Clemente,

I can't recall seeing many signed 1964 Topps Standups. You're lucky they didn't put Ken Hubbs in the set — he's in the regular 1964 Topps set.

LOL...a feeling shared by many here from time to time, I'm sure. Those are just terrific! They look great in a group like that. Well done and good luck finding the rest. I wish I could help but my modest bunch are unsigned.

Turk Farrell is considered the most elusive 1964 Topps Super autograph. I imagine an autographed stand-up would be non existent. I have seen an autographed Farrell 1964 Super show up at various Nationals (probably the same card) but seriously doubt the authenticity.

Mike,
That sure would be a fun side project. I figure you’d have the Kaline, but the others would be hard to come by I would think. I wouldn’t think a lot of collectors would get relatively hard to come by standups to get signed. I don’t see a Brooksie yet?!? Last edited by Mark70Z; 05-28-2019 at 04:26 PM. |
