If you want to "legitimize" the value of your purchase(s), we can still update the prices in time for the 2007 Standard Catalog. Prior to the sale and breakup I had planned to remove all pricing from the set, but now feel it is possible to ballpark a price guide for them. I welcome any reports from buyers or seller. |

Hal raises a good point. (The one thing being a lawyer does for you is to train you to think of how people might be sleezy). Perhaps Bob will need to check with the seller to confirm that the prices are accurate. Of course, he'll need to convince the seller that the buyer really has authorized the release of the information. |

To Hal's point, if Bob wants to forward any e-mails he receives from the buyers to me, I will confirm the number. That way I am not disclosing something unless the buyer already disclosed it to Bob. |

I have seen too many lawyers who need only look in the mirror to understand sleaziness. Noone here, of course. |

Maybe I am overestimating people's intentions, but I don't understand the need for the buyers to update the pricing. The ones that have approached me are looking to acquire a card for there collection, not as an investment for re-sale. |

with the $4,000 NM price currently carried for commons, then I guess there is no need to seek current information for an update. It's funny, though, that when the new generation of owners wants to cash out, they'll be whining about the woefully inaccurate "book" value. |
