On the Cardinals/Mets ball I'm thinking Todd Zeile above Barry Lyons. Larry Maclin is the middle signature on the panel of 3?

Two not posted from the Indians ball (Ball 3) are Brian Tallet and Fernando Cabrera (above Denney)

Thank you! It seems some of the minor league balls are tough. I have an international league ball I'll post in the next few days. Montreal Expos balls will be the next batch.

Second Expos ball looks like a stamped souvenir ball.

Tigers ball - the signature with John 3:16 is Scott Fletcher.

Signature under Kipper is, again, Jose Lind.

Damn Jose Lind gets me every time. Thanks for Fletcher. That's upsetting about the 83 ball. I have another Expos ball that I'll post tonight when I get out of work. Also, a 70's Pirates ball and 70's Orioles ball are coming up.

Jeff Huson under Walker, Andres Galarraga, Kevin Gross under Grissom, then ??, then Rex Hudler on the Expos ball.

Frank DiPino and Bob Walk are the last two on the first Pirates ball.

Twins: Fletcher lookalike is Greg Gagne. Wally Backman above Stelmaszek. Tim Laudner below Newman.

Orioles: Scott McGregor above Palmer.

Thanks for these. Could you do me a favor and quote the expos/ pirates ball and put Gross huson and Hudler in the spots they belong.

Are you sure that's Frank Dipino? I just did a quick search of his autograph and I am not sold that is him especially since he wasn't a Pirate that I remember anyway.

It'd be easier if you numbered the pics and/or didn't post the ones you don't have questions on. Edited my reply to place those Expos sigs.

Actually you're right, not DiPino, it's Dave LaPoint.

Thank you so much. I just post all of them even if I know so people can see the sigs and let me know if anything doesn't look good about them.

That's really a second question though. Maybe start a thread for authenticity questions seperate from the auto ID thread? I like to help people with these ID questions when I can because my Rainman power is to identify signatures of 1980's baseball scrubs. It's just easier for me to help when the images are presented more consicely. Speaking just for myself though, so take it as merely a suggestion.

FWIW, I don't think there's anything in these pics that would be highly forged items, and most everything (aside from the ball which may or may not have been rubber-stamped) looks legit, so it's probably safe to say the entire lot is good. The one Expos ball may just be the ink bleeding, since it's not an official ball, and that might be what is giving it the appearance of a stamped ball. Hard to tell on my phone sometimes when the signatures aren't very bold.

BTW, the guy you have identified as Chris Nabholz on "Ball 17 Montreal Expos Souvenir Baseball 91" is actually Junior Noboa.

I will change the name to Naboa. Your knowledge of 80's "jobbers" is pretty damn impressive. Maybe what I will do is start a new thread with the last couple balls and then just pics of any ball/panel where a signature has yet to be identified. As far as the possible stamped ball, I came across another one of these souvenir balls and the sigs are signed the same way but not all in the same spots so now that makes me question if they are both legit even more.

Hi,

The 1960 Durham ball has Don Wert (future Tigers' 3rd baseman), not Don Hart.

Hope that helps,

Jeff

Last Ball Jim Todd only definite. Sweet Spot looks like Chuck Tanner and possibly Mike Torrez on side and Joe Rudi. Guessing 76's A's would be the team.
