Default Psa/dna certified - question

I am about to render a "best offer" on a slabed card. The slab indicates - PSA/DNA certified. Also, Authentic, Auto then the slab ##!

What does PSA/DNA certified mean? And does the Auhentic related to the Autograph? And the slab has no grade #. Can you tell some how the grade of the card? Is PSA/DNA the same as the grading company PSA?

Does the Authentic relate to only the autograph, or the grade of the card just being graded - AUTHENTIC?

Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me. This is my first Autographed slab.

This is the BST section. You might want to ask this in the memorabilia forum. You'll get a lot more information there. I'm not an autograph guy, so I can't be of help otherwise. Best of luck!

The PSA/DNA certified is indicating the autograph is authentic, if it wasn't they wouldn't have slabbed it. The 'Authentic' is the grade given to the card, sometimes you will see PSA/DNA certified and then a numerical grade; but often when the card has been altered they will certify it as simply authentic.

And yes, PSA and PSA/DNA are basically one in the same.
