W575-1 Earl Smith SGC 4 1922 Catchers Pose Very Nice Possibly W501-2
Offered here is a very nice example of a 1922 W575-1 card of Earl Smith. Val who posted below has pointed out that the Smith may in fact be a W501-2. Whichever the card is nice with an incredible image.
This nice catchers pose of a New York Nationals player is graded a 4 by SGC. Period catchers poses with all the gear present and the squat position are desirable cards and this one has good centering, excellent registration and no creasing I can see. A solid 4 that could have easily been a 4.5 with only touched corners Sold plus 5.99 shipping with tracking net Last edited by ricktmd; 05-19-2024 at 08:06 AM. |

Rick, I suspect this very nice card is actually a W501-2 (Type 2) card. SGC has just begun to recognize these.
