Default Wanted: early baseball books

It's time to post another lonely cry for early baseball books in the hope that someone (other than the usual suspects) replies:

Wanted in dust jacket:

Chance, Bride and the Pennant
McGraw, My Thirty Years in Baseball
Mathewson, Won in the Ninth
Scott, Third Base Thatcher (Dodd Mead)
Mathewson, Catcher Cragi (Dodd Mead)
Mathewson, First Base Falkner (Dodd Mead)
Mathewson, Pitcher Pollock (Dodd Mead)
Barbour, a number in dj, all sports.
Cobb, Busting Em
Evers, Touching Second
any early and rare dust jackets

In a herculian and grobian sized task, I've started a new Flickr page Sports Book Covers https://www.flickr.com/photos/127734199@N02/

On that page, I'm going to be listing by subject, author and year in various albums. If you have a rare book not in my collection and by some chance you don't want to sell it, I'd love to have an image for the flickr site.

As always, looking to correspond with any baseball book collectors. I also have stacks of baseball and other sports books in my basement, looking for a new home.

Thanks,
Max

Hey Max

I though you had gotten out of the book game and where selling off your collection.

Jason

Selling off most of my post 1970 material, as well as some pre-WWII. I will always be looking for early dj'd copies.

The problem with the newer stuff is that it costs $15 a book to mail from Canada. As such, it is cost prohibitive to sell on ebay or otherwise by mail. If anyone is in the Pacific NW, there are bargains galore if you show up at my basement door (call please, first )

bgar,

Yes, it will be a lot of work to complete the set up the new flickr page, but hopefully I can get images of the "full Grobani" plus other titles which escaped inclusion.

I did pick up the Metafysics book in the after market. I also have hundreds more to scan, and there may be a few interesting titles in there.

Max
