Default What is this 1961 Topps blank-back Santo?

I have a few cards like this 1961 Topps Santo--they all look hand cut and have blank backs. Plz see the photos. Can you help me identify what these are? Do they have any value? Many thanks.

Probably a printer's scrap that was hand cut after being taken home by a guy who made the sheet. Some value, probably $50 to the right collector. Commons might be $5.

A verifiable blank back proof might have more value than a blank back misprint but there is virtually no way to determine if a blank back card with a regularly issued front is a proof card unless it comes with certification from Topps Vault.

As John mentions, a Santo or player collector might pay some premium for such a card but normally blank back cards are not high demand cards

Handcut blank backs were mostly backdoored cards, handcut/torn by someone at the print shop or their kids. Any particular 1960's Topps card with a blank back is very difficult to find, but most people don't really want them and those that do usually aren't hunting for a specific example, but just a type. I pick up commons for $2 or so whenever I see them. A Santo rookie could be $20 or $100 depending on the right collector and who you can find. If you want to sell, don't auction it as your buyer base is small; really only 'advanced' player collectors will pay much of a premium. Personally I think these are undervalued

Thanks for all three of these replies. I'm going to pull together my group of 5-6 of these 1961 blank backs--all from the same collection--and try to fit them together like a puzzle. I'll try to find some 1961 card sheets to see how they were laid out by the printer on the sheets. I think I have a row of cards, essentially. Thank you! -Doug
