Default 1996 Topps Profiles

On my way building a master Topps 1996 set, I just acquired a 40-card complete set of this insert set.

As I look at them in numerical order, cards AL 11-20 and NL 11-20 seem to have more of a foil border than cards AL 1-10 and NL 1-10 which have a whiter, less shiny border.

Can someone tell me if this is how the set should look or if I've obtained some parallel or variation cards (even though none are checklisted)? I've checked on e-Bay and individual cards for sale seem to have the same corresponding borders as the ones I have, and the regularity of the variance (10 sequentially number cards in each the NL and AL subsets) seems to suggest this is simply the way they were printed.

Thanks!

I would guess first half in Series 1 and second half in Series 2.

I seem to recall that, almost like they were oxidized a bit?
