Default Basketball coaches

Nothing pricey, but took quite some time to put these together. Post 1:

Very cool.

Wondered who the Sportscaster card was, until I recognized Pat Summit on the floor, which kind of blew my mind that I recognized her from her playing days.

The other women on the Sportscaster card are:

USSR

19 Uljana Semjanova - first non American female player inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame

11 Nadezha Zakharova

15 Nataliya Klimova

US

Lusia Harris jumping against Semjanova

8 Nancy Dunkle

(14) Pat Head - to the right of Harris

(15) Juliene Simpson next to Zakharova

This looks like it is from the 1976 Olympics. They only met once during the games. On July 23 the Soviet team beat the U.S. 112-77. The venue, a hockey rink known as Centre Étienne Desmarteau was modified for basketball. Temporary seats were added to accommodate 5000 people.

Great stuff Peter. The Coach K isn't an easy card to find.

The hardest for me were Rupp and Boeheim and Dean Smith,

I purchased this program because of the High concentration of Great Coaches. Coaching Rupp for Kentuckey Bobby Knight For Army. On the Army team Is Coah K Mike Krzyzewski and Rudy Tomjonovich playing for Michigan. Other Coaches playing that weekend such as Dan Issell. All in all alot of top Basketball minds all in one place at one time.

Peter, your collection is like a high quality version of mine: everything, everywhere, all at once.

I saw an image of Wooden in a UCLA publication from really early in his career and he looked like an old man even then.

Who made those stamp pages? I have other stuff with the same sort of design and knew at one time, but I've forgotten.

They made a lot of stuff, some of it very specialized.
