Default Mel Ott Night - August 7, 1940

Created this frame display of some cool memorabilia from Mel Ott Night at the Polo Grounds on 8/7/40. The Gehrig telegram was from Hunts, and is pretty cool. Lou was obviously pretty sick by August 1940, and wasn't going to show up and distract attention from someone else's celebration. The other materials were all offered on ebay by someone as a package. There was other stuff I couldn't ever use. All and all very happy with it.

Steve,
That is an amazing display. I seriously considered bidding on the telegram, but wound up not. I collect Gehrig mostly, but also have a fair amount of Ott stuff as he was my father's favorite player that he collected.
Really well done.
Mark
