has anyone noticed the seller on eBay who has "buy it now" on bunches of vintage card reprints that don't say "reprint" on them anywhere? Now he has apparently reprinted Cracker Jack cards. People have been buying the vintage reprints from him for $20 apiece. Also heard on the CU forum that a while back he sold a Mantle rookie reprint in a PSA-8 holder, and the slab did not indicate it was a reprint either. |

There are at least 3 dealers on ebay that daily post reprints that don't say reprint on them and people buy them for way more then the cost of paper. They drive me nuts because they don't say in the auction title they are reprints. |

In the coin world any coin that is being offered that is not original (a reprint) has to have the word COPY stamped on the coin |

sometimes the reprints are labeled by the manufacturer, and that label is worn off by the seller so they can be sold on ebay. I do think ebay can take a positive step here, by forcing all listings of reprints to say so in the auction title. |
