Default Any police officers on the board?

Thanks for the responses to this thread. I shouldn't have posted, as this has nothing to do with baseball, so deleting. Thanks.

Not a cop but retired fire chief. My first advice is have a lawyer. Don't interact with the cop in question but go to the police commissioner or mayor. perhaps take a "secret tape recorder" jmho dave. ps the officer could just say you threatened him/her and the judge would believe him not you.

The Seattle Police Department doesn't have a stellar reputation lately. That the Department of Justice is persuing a Civil Rights case against it would suggest this. There have been several in the news cases of policemen going overboard on the street when dealing with suspects.

I work in Law Enforcement, both on the road in the past and in the jail. I guess I would need more information regarding the situation. My guess is you would not even be allowed in the secure portion of the jail to speak to the officer. You would need to go to his supervisor or higher to get any dialog going.

Our department does a fair job in training us to help understand the obstacles that we may occur when dealing with the mentally ill. We do training quarterly training that deals with and officers are sent to NAMI every few months on a rotating basis.
