You got the e105 Mello Mint? Last I recalled you were still looking for that along with the list above.

I've been doing a good bit of research into Mothers' Bread and I don't believe the Dots Miller card exists with that back.

I DID get the mello mint...that'd be great if d303 mothers didn't exist. There also may be some team designation variations I am missing within t216?

The fielding pose is Pittsburg and St. Louis

Examples of each:

St. Louis

Pittsburg

thanks zach...as long as the team designations correspond to the different backs I'll be fine...my concern is if there's a mino with both pitt/st louis designations and/or kotton...etc.

I have been attempting a Lobert run and he has 3 differnt Kotton backs the team change changes with the back but he doesn't have more than 1 team per back. So I would assume the same is true for Miller... of course this is just an assumption based of another card so I could be wrong.

So you're looking to get every variation with all 3 Kotton back types, Mino, and Virginia Extra?!

Oh lawd... I hope what Andy is saying is correct and there isn't more than 1 team variation per back.

Good luck!

I sure would love an e92 nadja!!!!

Last year was a banner year for my millers...as I added an e92 blank, red crofts candy...and the only 2 t216 blank backs in existence...all really really tough!!!!!

i think the e92 nadja, blue candy are the next easiest...followed by VE,Kotton.

But make no mistake....by easy I mean very very tough!!!

Here's an auction lot of Kotton backs with 3 Miller fielding cards:

http://www.legendaryauctions.com/lot-57434.aspx

Type 1 - Pittsburg
Type 2 - St. Louis
Type 3 - St. Louis

Makes sense since he left Pittsburg for St. Louis in 1913 (T216 were issued 1911-16)

I'm not sure how the Mino and VE backs would play into this though. We know there's a Pittsburg w/ a VE back so if these were still being issued w/ VE after 1913 then there's a strong possibility of a St. Louis w/ VE back also.

An auction listing showing Mino (St. Louis) and VE (Pittsburg):

Well I'm always on the lookout for T216's for my Louisiana collection. If I happen to run across a Miller I'll let you know.

Good luck... I think you're gonna need it.

how is your lobert run coming Andy? It will be impossible enough to find the 3 diff kotton backs without any team changes thrown in there!!!!! Is there a blank back lobert?

Pete, don't worry, I'm still looking for another one for you. I've seen probably 3 or 4 of the batting since I started the set, but the fielding is coming up empty. I know there was one in REA a few years ago, at this point it might be worth while to see if they can get ahold of the winning bidder to see if he still has it and has any interest in selling?

Andy, for your Lobert run, do you have the Nadja? If so, were you the one who picked it up from b-l, or is it a different one?

It is slow. I just started it within the last year. And Lobert is the hardest player to find in most sets. I did just work out a trade tonight to get the e90-1. I haven't seen a blank back, but there is a menagarie that I have. I know where I could potentially get the other two Kottons, D303 General baking, and an e101, yet they are all overpriced compared to market and am willing to wait right now, but I may cave if the funds become available. I missed the e101 in JVS because I was focused on our child born on the 6th and didn't pay attention to my email alerts until after the auction ended.

No I missed the Nadja. I put in strong bids on the Cocoa and Candy as well as the Nadja. If I would have realized how strongly people would have fought for that I would have passed on the two Crofts and gone after it stronger, but I was naive and already was maxed out by the time the Nadja had passed my max bid.

I am a very modest collector (the e90-1 will be the highest graded in the run at a PSA 3) going after a run that may be impossible on my limited budget, but it has been fun trying. I really doubt I would be able to get the first Mello Mint that comes up as that is also needed by Daryl last I heard.

Here is my progress thus far minus the e90-1 that is to be shipped out tomorrow:

Knowing where they are may be huge... but I have to have the funds. I planned on purchasing them and had the funds saved up, but then the B-L auction happened with the three big ones I mentioned in the last post. I have not seen a red. I found a blue in past auction results, but have no idea where it is now.
