Golden Press Cards???? Need Information

I was wondering if anyone on this board had any info about Golden Press baseball cards. I have only seen ones from 1961 and not any pre war. Did they make pre war cards? What years were they produced and is there a way to get price info on them?

Golden Press cards only came out in 1961. The players were pre-war, but the cards aren't.

I picked up a buch a couple of months ago. Not expensive and definitely nicer than the contemporaneous Fleer issue.

I like them also, I picked up 4 autographed ones in a Mastro auction 4 or so years ago, and I have been looking for other autographed ones ever since with little luck,,,,

I have Cronin, Dickey, Frisch, and Hubbell...would love more.,,,,

a bunch on ebay now, including a complete set in the book, around $ 110 as we speak,,,
