What would your top ten look like if you had to come up with a poll of the top types you'd like to add to your collection? (we can keep it somewhat realistic and not put a T206 Wagner on there for most folks).

Mine-

1. E222 A.W.H. Caramel
2. 1910 Washington Times
3. Big Eater
4. Darby Chocolate
5. Kalamazoo Bat
6. J=K Candy
7. E224 Texas Tommy
8. T217 Mono Tobacco
9. Holland Creameries
10. D380 Clement Bros

Leon-

I know this is pretty much right up your alley, but honestly is there even a list you could put together at this point? Are there any cards that have designations that you don't have?

If were to start down the type card road again, and in no particular order:

- Big Eater (love the slogan)
- Obak Cabinet
- Hess California League
- Kalamazoo Bats -- love the one that sold earlier this year where you can see the wood supports for faux scenery (see link below)
- E222
- The Uncle Sam T209 (I think Brian's shown his example on here a couple times)
- e221 Bishop team card (lock your doors, Leon)
- Lone Jack
- Just So
- N167

I am absolutely stunned that no one has listed a T208 Fireside.

1922 T231 Fans
1912 T215 Pirate Cigarettes
1912-4 H813 Boston Garters
1914 Baltimore News
1909 Derby Cigars
1914 E224-2 Texas Tommy Type 2
1910 Washington Times
1911 Western Playground
1911 M110 Sporting Life Cabinet
1909 D355 Niagra Bread

My favorite types would be a much different list (a good topic for another thread...)

Maybe Firesides aren't on people's lists because everyone has one.

Dave,

Sorry, the Holland is NFS. You'd choke if you knew what I paid for it, almost as bad as I choke when I consider that the guy had another one that I passed on because it was a beater. Little did I know...

Here's mine.

Top 10 High Condition Type Card Want List

1. N 167 Old Judge
2, Kalamazoo Bat New York
3. T 208 Fireside
4. Holland Creameries
5. T 217 Mono
6. Baltimore News (another color)
7. Washington Times
8. Texas Tommy Type 2
9. J=K
10. Kalamazoo Bat Team Card- Pittsburgh

Interestingly enough, we had all of these cards except for the Washington Times and the J=K
before we sold a portion of our collection in the 2004 Robert Edwards Auction. Our biggest
mistake was selling the Fireside..albeit we are close to obtaining a replacement.
