Default Heretofore Unlisted Cards Discovered

We have been collectors of ultra rare Negro League memorabilia and rare post cards for more than 30 years.

Amongst the most difficult to find of such Negro League Post cards were those produced by Harrison Studios in 1931

As a number of you are aware, Jackson Auctions (www.jacksonsauction.com) recently offered a fantastic array of Negro Baseball memorabilia as well as some incredibly interesting items which showcased African American history.

We were extremely fortunate to be the high bidders on Lot #1 which included two heretofore uncatalogued Harrison Post Cards:

(1) Ted Page -autographed.
(2) Vic Harris - Manager

Should anyone wish additional information, please let us know

Enjoy the Hobby

BTW Bruce - you're welcome for the PM I sent you letting you know the Page was autographed and the original find it came from. I'm sure you saw that anyway.

I'm a little unclear. Did Bruce discover the unknown cards or merely buy them?

He bought them...the question should be is he the first baseball card collector to own them? And were they previously unknown to the baseball collecting community?

The Ted Page card has been listed in the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards for a number of years, but the Vic Harris is an addition to the checklist.
