Default FS: c1920 Rawlings "Koney" Mitt...Ed Konetchy..RARE!

Per research available thru existing Rawlings sporting goods catalogs, this is a pre-1926, full sized, completely original, correct hand (RHT), Rawlings basemitt that is endorsed by the Cardinals and Pirates stand out first sacker, Ed Konetchy (played 1907-1921).

This very rare, soft, supple “Koney Mitt” features a strong buckle back wrist strap as well as an outstanding, early Rawlings patch. There is no damage to this mitt and no presence of ink anywhere. The interior, like the exterior shell, remains free from all rips and tears.

Offered along with this piece are a Piedmont tobacco card and a felt tobacco blanket that feature the likeness of Ed “Koney” Konetchy that depict him wearing like the exact same style mitt as the one being offered here.

Asking price is $285 (shipped…USPS priority with tracking).

Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions if interested.
