Default Help With Old Detriot Tigers Pin

I'm hoping someone might know a bit about this Detroit Tigers pin I have. The pin measures about 2 inches by 2 inches. It's all metal and the little gold metal baseball says Tigers on it, too.

I was told it was 1920 but I'm not sure. Any ideas as t age, rarity, value, etc?

My first impression when looking at it was 1930's or earlier.
Pretty neat pin, no matter what. Nice pickup if you own it!

This style pin was sold in the 1930's. I have the version you posted and also a version with the year 1934 (black background with orange numbers) on the flag and same Tigers ball charm attached. Sometimes your version can be found with a Tiger Head charm attached. The Tiger head charm is more rare, asthetically pleasing and commands more money. Value on these $50-75$ retail. Also, these pins seem to have been sold with an original hanging tassle attached. Finding these with the tassles attached is almost impossible. Hope this helps.

Great stuff, Adam... Love the Tiger Head variation, and never seen that one before!
