Dear Santa,

For Christmas this year I would like a T207 Ward Miller card. If you can't find this then a T207 Vic Saier card would do just fine.

Love,

Little Kenny

P.S. I'm sorry about last year when I shot at Rudolph as I thought he was an alien from outer space with your sleigh. Also could you find it in your heart to let the Cubs win the World Series in 2009. It's been over 100 years.

Ken, regarding your last request: I'm afraid Santa can't help you on that one. In fact, I'm pretty sure at this point that even intervention from God won't help, sorry.

Since I am Santa in my house (shhh), I would be happy to obtain a NM version of any of the following:
48 Leaf Musial
53 Bowman color Mathews & Campy
50 Bowman Berra
51 Bowman Mantle or Mays

But if I were to really be greedy and have a real Santa deliver something truly special, my needs would be far greater!
MINT examples of any of the following:
T200 Premium Cleveland
T206 Lajoie w/bat
Wagner PC (forgot the name of the issue, but the horizontal real photo of him just about to drop the bat after swinging)

Non-Reality: T206 Wagner, best condition 'ol Santa has.

Super Non-Reality: I would like the "yet to be discovered" Satchell Paige card from the early 1930's.

Reality: T206 Cobb green PSA 6

Steve,

It's not a card. It's a picture with an article in a Negro League magazine from 1934.

Since I doubt that Santa can wrestle the Jewish Grail away from one of the Board's distinguished members, I'll go for a CJ Jackson instead, a card I want almost enough to go back to work. Mark

Dear Santa;

I've been as good as I know how to be, all year. Please choose from the following:

N28 Cap Anson, PSA 9
Diamond Stars #1 Lefty Grove, PSA 9
N28 King Kelly, PSA 9
Diamond Stars #99 Pie Traynor, PSA 9
N28 Chuckles Comisky, PSA 9

As a last resort, Keith Olbermann underoos, size 74.

Thank you. I will try to do better next year.

I'd post my "wish" card, but don't want to get laughed off the playground.

As for the Cubs fans, just ain't gonna happen in '09. I was pulling big time for a Red Sox - Cubs WS last year, but the Cubs collapsed, as did my Red Sox team. Perhaps trashing Bartmann so badly, and blowing up the baseball (which was clearly and well into foul territory) upset the alignment of the Universe. There ain't enough cookies and milk you can lay out for Santa that will change the on-going destiny of the Cubs. Could be the Blogo thing putting some bad funk in the air.

I will say that my not long ago visit to the ballpark was very enjoyable, as was the scenery in nearby establishments! You folks know how to party before and after the games!!

PS, Shooting at Rudolph won't help your cause. happy.gif

Merry Christmas and a great New Year to all.

It is one of Brian's cards that started this whole thread. Maybe we should ask Santa to take Brian's collection and bust it up amongst everyone on the board, so they all get something they want?

Where's cousin Eddie with the tenement on wheels when we really need him? Merry Christmas! Sh!tters full!

I think I've been as good as I can get this year...really I have!
So my Santa wishlist only has one card on it.

It shouldn't be too tough to find a T208 Cullivan's Fireside Eddie Plank...

I'll get up early on Thursday and check the stocking. I'll scan it and post it for those of you who were too naughty to get your own.

Been kicking around the idea of putting together a small collection of Jackie Robinson cards. Post-war, I know, but it'd be pretty cool if "Santa" could hook me up with a Parade Sportive of Jackie -- or some other "card" of him in a Royals uni, if one exists.

Regards,

Richard.
