Default I've got one

J. Clyde "Deerfoot" Milan. Outfielder for the Washington Senators in 1907-1922. 2,100 hits and 495 stolen bases in 16 MLB seasons. 1912 and 1913 AL stolen base leader, including a then record 88 in 1912. His career OBP was .353. Managed the Washington Senators in 1922. His best season was probably 1911 for the Washington Senators as he posted a .395 OBP with 58 stolen bases and 109 runs scored in 705 plate appearances.

After taking a closer look of Chris’s card there are some pretty cool ones I might look for in the distant future(lot of Jackson and Ruth and need first)

Here is Ed Konetchy...his head might be big, but not as heavy as his bat, to judge by his droopy bat batting stance.

The Big Heads card of WaJo captures the brief hipster phase that Walter went through before he returned to his clean shaven, Barney ways.

This one ENDED on Ebay today: COBB
Yeah, it was 'raw' but under Ebay Authencity.
(thats why i questioned about it being sent to CSG)

WONDER WHO GOT IT???? I placed a few bids...but WOWWZERS!!! $3550
It got some late action between 2 bidders
I had always thought TonyEtrade was way high on his on Ebay @5445
but, that may perhaps been a factor in pricing as well. Congrats!!!

From the fairly poor image it has the suspicious "I'm not authentic" squiggle lines, and the color is looking off as well. I think it will not pass as authentic.

Have to agree, it's got color and printing to match a modern attempt at Cobb. Hope they're covered either way!

P.S. Going to post some info about this set's creation and dating on Net54's longest research thread, which appears to be https://www.net54baseball.com/showth...=120812&page=2 -- will be interesting to revive one last updated in 2010!

Agree^^^
I had talk to another member
While it was ongoing and had
Suspicions too about not real
The color was faded and the back
Look tea stain and baked but
The EBay guarantee has buyer covered

That’s one of threads I bookmarked
Good read

Val definitely wouldn’t let his go.
He showed his several times and just like
The “judge” card. It takes time since there not many around.
I’m so happy and getting the last card (bodie)
Will be a thrill to complete
So if anyone see it at a show or else-pm me
