Default Feb. Autograph Pickup Thread

Didn`t see one started for the month of Feb. as of yet so decided to let her fly. Was lucky to be able to add to my 1919 White/Black Sox collection, Shano Collins a while back and Swede Risberg this past week.

Do you mind my asking how you picked that one up? NonUDA autos of that quality show up so rarely.

Such a great piece.

I actually just bought it in the last Heritage Sunday auction. There's another one in this Sunday's auction but the signature is a bit lighter and it's from 2015. Both tickets feature the same seating assignments so I'm thinking they came from a season ticket holder.

Default 1954 Clemente on a Montreal Royals ball

I was under bidder on this ball that sold last night. It has a JSA letter (which I dont have faith in) I saw it late or would have reached out for a second opinion. If I had a 2nd opinion I would have stayed up and bid.
What do you guys think. The signatures on the ball are faded with the Clemente being one of the better ones.Did I pass up a rare ball??

I haven't ever made 1919 Black Sox a priority, but it's on my list of things to do. These are great items. Thank you for sharing!

Dr Steen is the gift that keeps giving and giving lol
Bescher still holds the Reds season record for steals.

Congrats Sean. I almost bid but it doesn't quite fit into my collection. I was sure Paul would grab it

Thanks! I've never seen another Bescher signature. Strange that the only one out there is on something this nice

Remember, you can never ask Marilu Henner again. She is the person with the eidetic memory.

Default Hal Chase

I have bought two other Hal Chase signatures in the past, both I resold and one ended up turning out to be a fake which I 100% refunded but didnt get refunded for myself as I had lost all contact info of the seller I bought it from...been on my checklist for a while... was happy to win this one last month (think I won it at a good price as well) A very solid, bold black ink sig.
