Well i think it will effect the card. but not badly. The Cobb just looks miscut, seems to be vary common with tobacco cards. The Addie Joss also will be effected but not much. i think what will be affected is the centering. The Joss will (i think) would be worth more, just alittle |

Both are factory miscuts. As a rule miscuts do lower the grade/value of the card, but I wouldn't worry too much for these cards. The Cobb has what's called a diamond cut; this does negatively impact the value of the card, but only by a small percentage. The way the Joss is miscut, with the name appearing on top, will turn away some collectors but is actually considered a desirable characteristic by others. I wouldn't necessarily say that it improves the value of the card, and certainly not the grade, but the negative impact should be fairly minor. |

The E102's should not be effected much - those cards are very tough and most collectors will be more tolerant of a miscut for a card that isn't easily available. |

lots of caramel issues, particularly the e92s/e101/e102 have this diamond cut where the image is slanted compared to the borders. it's a factory cut and all up to personal preference, but from collecting these cards i've grown fond of the cut and don't mind them at all, i'd grade the cobb g/vg because of the heavy ding bottom right. |

I think the diamond cut on the Cobb is a non-issue because there is such a high percentage of diamond cuts among caramels as others have already said. And this one is not severe. |
