Default Ebay: 1953 Topps 244 Willie Mays - possible pinhole

I asked the seller if there was a pinhole at the top of the card and he replied "NO". Very nervous about biding on this item so I passed.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on whether or not you think the card has been pinned.

For a card in only "Good" condition to begin with, not sure why a pinhole would make you worried about bidding on it. It's not like it was EX or better otherwise and that would crater the value of the card.

I try to avoid buying cards with a pinhole, personal preference.

Looks like it’s been sold, but FWIW I saw that card last night and came to the same conclusion.

Definitely a pin hole someone tried to disguise a little bit on the front. You can tell from the back it is one. Card wasn't worth that final bid anyway so you probably chose wisely.

Actually, looks more like a nail hole to me...probably why Probstein replied "no" when you asked about a pinhole.

Agree with everyone else about it being a pinhole.

I’m surprised he didn’t just trim it off.
