Default 1977-79 Sportscasters (Tougher High Series)

Posted By: Rhett Yeakley

I know these cads are pretty new for this site, but I just found a bunch of them in a box and figured I would let anybody here interested in these to have first dibs... they are actually pretty cool cards, but definately not for everyone. All of the sets I have for sale are from the tough "High Series"-after most kids in the 70's stopped sending in their money to keep getting the sets through the mail. I will list the sets available, and any key cards. Prices are pretty negotiable- honestly I'm not sure what they normally sell for. All sets are complete (24 cards), and most cards are clean NRMT or so-some were still in their old cellophane that had deteriorated-but the cards are sharp.

Series 62 (Don Larsen, Golfer Peter Alliss, Buzz Aldrin, Leon Spinks, Spinks/Ali Action, Lester Patrick (HK), 1 Golf, 1 FB, 1 BK) $30.00

Series 63 (Gil Hodges, 1972 Dolphins, Howes (Gordie & Sons), Shirley Muldowney (Racing), 1 FB, 1 BK). $28.00

Seires 64 (Pam Shriver, Chinese Basketball, Floyd Little (FB), USA/Russia BK, 2 Boxing, 1 BK, 1 HK, ) $25.00

Seires 71 (Chuck Noll/Bradshaw, J.R. Richard, Ben Crenshaw, Weissmuller, Kissinger, 2 Hockey, 1 FB) $35.00

Series 72 (Joe Paterno, Don Drysdale, 1958 Brazilian Team (Pele), Tommy Horton (Golf), Jim Corbett,Dempsey/Carpentier) $35.00

Series 73 (Bear Bryant, Emmett Ashfort-BB, Rudy Tomjonovich, Bobby Locke-Golf, Chris Evert, 1976 Czech HK team, USSR/NHL HK, Patterson/Johansson-BX) $35.00

Series 80 (Rick Mears, Al McGuire, BB Umpire Strike, Davidson-HK, Marshall-FB, Nancy Lopez-Golf, 1958 Brazil Soccer, Dan Gable-Wrestling) $35.00

Series 81 (Mike Schmidt, Lenny Wilkens, Marv Alberts, Mario Andretti, Lemaire-HK, Pastorini & Billy Sims-FB) $35.00

Series 101 TOUGH (John F. Kennedy, Duke Snider 400-HRs, McEnroe/Tracy Austin, Tarzan/Weissmuller, Haden-FB) $40.00

Series 102 TOUGH (Isao Aoki-Golf, Ray Meyer-BK, John McEnroe, Olga Korbut, Fenway Park, Jim Piersall, Mike Flanagan, Owens-FB, Cruyff, Russian HK) $40.00

Series 103 *FINAL SERIES-TOUGHEST* (ESPN, Babe Zaharias, Cronkite,Ann Meyers-BK, Bjorn Borg, Tatum-FB, Turner-FB, Yakushev-HK) $45.00

All 11 Sets $325.00

Just let me know if there is any interest.
