I was surprised to read that King only managed the Giants for a single season, I would have thought it was more. Hope he at least knew that his old team won on Monday night. RIP.

man this is scary,
Yesterday morning I was going through some signed 3x5's and came across Clyde King. For some reason I stopped and looked his over and wondered about him. This morning I see this post. Kinda Freaky.

I worked with Clyde a few years back at a show in albany. One of the nicest men you could ever meet.

I had the pleasure of golfing with him in the mid 1990's. He was a beloved figure in Eastern North Carolina and did a lot in coaching youth. He will be missed.
