Default Phillies Bat

Picked this Phillies team bat up today at an antique shop for $5. If I did my research right, this bat is from the 1950s. Were these types of bat used by pitchers? or could any player use them? Also, if anybody has any bats like this or has photos of players using these bats please share them.

Thanks,
Ron

Surprised no bat guys chimed in. Sort of looks like bats we used when I was a kid in the 60s......(just making a comparison, I am not a bat guy)...

just a generic 50's H&B team bat. Could have been used by a newer player, spring training, etc. It was just an extra bat in the rack In great condition they bring $150 or so unless you can tie it to a player

Agreed. I have used 1980's versions of Blue Jays bats like this to get multi player signed.
