anyone know Greg Schwartz from Naxcom.com ? he's selling a jackson e90-1 GAI 2 for 5K...which is kinda high. I dont mind overpaying a little if I know the card is real and the seller is not a crook! (still trying to figure out how to post scans/links) if you go to naxcom.com, search for joe jackson, highest priced firts, and bam! there it is...the bottom looks a little crooked but may be just that my head's tilted :^)

Pete-

Greg posts here on occasion. I think he'd probably contend that the card is real and that he's not a crook, although you can ask him directly - http://www.botn.com/.

Also, it's a good idea to include your email address when you post if you're asking questions along this line.

Bill

I know Greg and he is reliable. Has a big collection and is often seen buying stuff around town. I think Trevor knows him too. I agree that 5K is kinda high for that card.

Thanks for your interest in the card. I forgot my password for the site and had been unable to log in until a couple of days ago. All of the cards listed were sold and the GAI 2 Jax sold for $4500.

Dealt with him quite a few times the past year - every transaction was a success!

I would not have a problem buying a card from him, and I feel certain it would be a smooth business transaction. I have sold to him in the past, but I can't remember ever buying from him.

It also turns out that he is good luck for me. Greg wished me luck in an upcoming race, and several days later (last Saturday) I actually won a half-marathon - first time ever. I'm either on the computer looking at vintage baseball stuff, or I'm running. Oh yeah, I'm also a total drunk...burp.

The last SGC 40 and PSA 3 each went for 7700 or so in Mastro's last 2 auctions. The 4500 I got for the 2 was high but that was about a year ago before they started to surface. Right before that I sold a 1 for 2500.

Wanted to thank those who posted the good words.

went for around $3500 (Sportscards Plus auction this past Summer). I would gladly pay $2500 for more of these graded 1's!

Yeah, I paid about $8k for this one from Mastro:

I agree - ugly card.

But still his rookie card nonetheless.

Lips?

Perhaps you don't recognize the ULTRA-RARE PROOF card of the "Shoeless Joe grows a red moustache" card.

It was never distributed after he shaved it off.
