Same here, Jeff. When I was playing Strat-O-Matic back in the 70s and 80s, I used to say, “There’s a place in the world for the Dave Kingmans”. In recent years, of course, there are literally hundreds of players in the mold of Dave Kingman.

Loved Kingman too. His home runs at Wrigley were legendary.

Apparently one of the biggest assholes to ever put in a baseball uniform.

Always heard that too but I've seen him several times being good with fans (signing autos, pics, etc.). Still a solid player that is often overlooked.

Will Clark was the biggest asshole to ever put on a uniform. Would not sign my son's baseball, with nobody around either.
