Thanks for the compliment on the card but I don't really want to rain on that thread. There are many cool cards out there and if everyone posted what they wanted to then Ben's thread would be "type tainted" Mr.Kelly lives to be shown another day. Maybe on TYPE CARD THREAD 2 ? Although looks like Ben might be a little stumped for the last few on this one. I know several people that could help on it....but maybe they are too busy to play....later

Leon,

I was fortunate enough to see the 4BH Kelly at the National. If you don't post it here can you please email me a nice scan of it. I appreciated just looking at it in Cleveland, it was one of the nicer cards I saw at the entire show.

Thank You!!!

I am already in VERY HOT WATER with a friend whom I wrote TWICE asking him to contribute to the thread, but he's "too busy to play," although if the thing is around at the end of September, he'll take a look.

If one of these guys doesn't take pity on us soon, the project will remain unfinished--though we certainly made as good try at it!

Damn, look at that crease! It's almost ripped in half :-p

Jay

I like to sit outside, drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.

Julie, How about a mutton-chop Yaz? Only twenty dollars, and if you're going to make me bend down to fetch it from the cabinet, you must pay me that amount, in cash, immediately. Mwuahahahahahaha!!!"

edited to say that mutton-chop Yaz is also the best card ever.

A Carl Yastrzemski card showing him with "mutton chop" style sideburns. I'm not sure there are any such cards, but if they exist, they're Milhouse's favorite.

enough, "All That Yaz." Don't remember any mutton chop Yazzes, but it's possible. Half the cards are gone now, but I think I would have saved that one...

MILLHOUSE? Whozat? Besides Nixon's middle name...

Milhouse wanted the Yaz with the sideburns but instead he Bart, and Martin split their money to buy Radioactive Man #1. A Simpson's classic. Glad to see other Simpson's afficiandos on the board. I'm proud to say I've seen every episode (about 350, give or take).

Sorry for the cunfusion--I haven't seen The Simpsons in years...

Xograph '75( Hey--I thought i had a Kellog's), SSPC '74, Fleer '81 (HIS HAIR ACTUALLY APPEARS TO surround HIS EAR), DONRUSS DIAMOND KINGS '82. I ALSO HAD A LINNETT--BUT IT WOULDN'T FIT (no great loss--ugh!)

"All That Yaz":
..anyone want to give me a bunch of--er, cookies, for a Yaz album with 141 cards, stickers, tatoos, stamps, tiny posters and yearbooks with him on the cover? I collected them for 3 reasons 1) I loved the movie "All That Jazz" (It's somewhat dated now) 2) I thought my son might like them and 3) I sorta liked Yaz myself.

You mean, my '73 Yaz is worth asd much as Radioactiveman #1? er..how much is HE worth?...
