This looks bad to me. Not even a particularly good fake.

Here is the authentication information from the Bricol website:

"Autographed lots come with either a James Spence Authentication LOA(JSA), PSA/DNA COA or Steiner Sports COA, etc. when noted. Otherwise, autographed lots have been authenticated by thorough scrutinizing of direct comparisons to thousands of previously authenticated items by JSA and PSA/DNA from prior Bricol Sports Auctions and PSA/DNA’s Real Autographs On-Line. A Full Bricol Sports Auction LOA with complete description and color photo will accompany these lots. LOA."

--
My questions for Bricol:
Are you saying that you compared that Mathewson in the auction to past Mathewson's that were authenticated by PSA and JSA?
Are you saying that you compared that Mathewson to PSA exemplars??

I am sure we would all love to have Bricol come to this thread and answer these questions.

What's make them a legitimate auction house?

If you look at their items, the items I tend to agree with have full JSA Certs, but some of the premium ones do not make any mention of JSA at all.

Hmmmm....

Regards,

Larry
