Default How about another Mantle Auto Question?

Long time lurker, first time poster(with a question). I bought this 10 years ago or so with a generic Scoreboard COA, what are the obvious signs that it is not real?
Thanks,
Cooper Lee

Well, happy to say I am progressing. With all of the help from members of the forum (and in particular Issac) I could tell immediately that this one was bad. Granted a very obvious and poor forgery, but still proud of myself.

Good old Bill,,, he used to walk around the NYC shows trying to peddle those crummy records with a big picture of a player on them. He must have made a warehouse find as he was always around with them and nobody seemed to want to buy them as we all knew they were very slow sellers. I used to actually feel sorry for the guy, he looked so pathetic.
Then in his next life he became B&J.

JDL - While I'm still new to this as well, as others have said this is a very common style of fake Mantle. After looking at them for awhile, it's an easy one to recognize.
