I have this cabinet card I found in a local antique shop a few years ago and since I don't collect football I figure I would see if there is anyone here that is interested in it. I bought it because I thought it was pretty cool that it showed the oversized football and nose protector. I say circa 1902 because the writing in the ball says "02" and the 13-5 underneath. I assume 02 is the year and the 13-5 is most likely their record that year. From the research I have done, the uniform is definitely 1902 period. Other than that I have had no luck nailing anything else down. The stamp on the bottom says R.J. Dillon Cambridge N.Y. and I came up empty on that search as well. Regardless, it's a really cool piece that shows the unforms and equipment of the day. Especially the oversized football and nose protector. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
