1909 Fort Wayne team, info please
I have an opportunity to try and purchase photos of what is described at a 1909 Fort Wayne, Ind. football team. The only thing I know about this team is that they were an amatuer team until 1913 when they turned into a professional organization. I have learned that Knute Rockne also played for the Fort Wayne team, but not in 1909.
Does anyone have any information of any of the players from the 1909 team, or any informaton at all. On the back is a name that is said to be Gladden Searle???? On the front of another pic is the name Garver. The sale is on Shopgoodwill, so info on photo or authentication is nil.
