Not sure it's so much of an issue, but I'm curious why someone who has a massive mega-collection (the likes of which I'm surely jealous) would want to be doing all of this flipping for a few hundred dollars here and there, if and when a buyer is found. It just doesn't seem worth it for someone who has such a huge collection, but maybe that's just me...

I was an underbidder on one of those items, so I actually do find it annoying to see the person who outbid me did it solely for the purpose of trying to flip it the next day. So yeah, he's free to do what he wants, but it's just more annoying to see why I was outbid.

I just don't get that. I bet a high percentage of items in any auction are bought by people with the intention to resell.

There's a part of selling where you always need to regularly bring in fresh, new inventory. When I've done this in the past, I've always found that my old, stale stuff often gets another look from potential buyers.

Default just wondering

if someone did a BIN now - how would Dan handle it? I'm sure he knows what he's doing (at least in this arena :-) hi Dan). I ask because I once sold something I had won in an auction to someone the NEXT DAY before I even got the invoice. They had no idea the item wasn't in my possesion. I ASSUMED it would come in (x) amount of time and allowed for a couple extra days for the item to get to me. I had get the item in a timely fashion, worry about it not being LOST or damaged on the way to me, and it being everything is was listed to be. It was a 2500.00 item so no small change (to me at least) and I was selling it to someone who trusted me and whose relationship was important to me. After a couple of days sweating it out - I realized I put myself in a bad position all by myself. The item ended up coming in a reasonable amount of time - no harm - no foul the deal was concluded. I never did that again....................

His Ebay listing states, Delivery: Estimated on or before Thu. Oct. 24 to 33351

So unless he is picking up the items from REA tomorrow how could I expect delivery (by First Class Mail) by the stated time if I did a BIN today?

In a world of altered cards, shilled auctions, jacked up scans and lying auction houses, I can live with that. Besides, it says estimated.

Hi Robert, when you buy from me you can expect delivery when I state it. Please see my feedback.

I just sold an item today from the REA auction and guess what......
