Default Clemente/Paige cards I cannot identify

Hey folks, I am hoping someone here can help me with an issue. I'm getting back into collecting after some time away and I have a lot of vintage I'm sorting through. I stumbled onto these cards and I am having a hard time identifying them. They are plain backs and feel like an exhibits card (feel/thickness).

I only have Paige and Clemente. Any help on what year and potential value? Are these new? Older?

Also I just wanted to say hi. I just joined but I love vintage cards and look forward to learning and "meeting" some like-minded folks. All the best! -Matt

They don't look like baseball cards. They look like pages neatly cut out of a book.

There's a book called "Daguerreotypes", and they look to be cut from one of the later editions.

They are cut from The Sporting News Guides

This is why I posted about thickness. Just took these pictures of the backs if that helps. They are about the same thickness as an Exhibits card.

Good call on Sporting News! I just saw an eBay listing that finally gave me a match. Thanks so much for the help, everyone.

The book "daguerreotypes" I mentioned was published by The Sporting News.

There are also similar items being cut out of the old Dell baseball magazines being attached to card board

Default Home made

Home made from a book. This is not the first time I have seen something similar to this. Honestly almost worthless. Maybe a $1 or $2 but are just home made items.
