Default HOF trivia

Many HOF'ers appeared in either 1957 or 1975 Topps sets.

Which HOF'ers had their cards between those years?

Orlando Cepeda (unless you count those 1975 MVP cards)

Default Not sure I understand the question...

But Frank Robinson had his cards begin and end with those years.

I think it is HOFers that did not appear in the 1957 or 1975 Topps sets, but appeared in the sets in between.

Definitely - Cepeda, Musial, Marichal as stated before, doesn't seem to be anyone else.

I think I misunderstood the question. It wasn't clear. Brooks did appear in the 1957 set, and I think the 1975 also. That's what I thought the trivia question was.

I think that is a good baseball card trivia question too:

I can think of Frank and Brooks Robinson, Hank Aaron and Al Kaline.

Harmon Killebrew appeared in the 1955 Topps set (but not 1957). Was he also in the 1975 Topps set?

Default yes

Killebrew's final Topps card was issued in 1975. As for HOFers whose entire Topps run is found between 1957-1975, I believe the three mentioned are it--Marichal, Cepeda and Musial. As for those whose run starts with 1957 Topps but does not last through 1975, add Koufax, Drysdale, Mazeroski, and Bunning. For those who lasted until 1975 but came after 1957, add Gibson.

I am not sure if there is another reason, but I am guessing because he spent most of the 1956 seaosn in the minors they decided not to include him...but again not sure.

woops, my bad on Sandy. Don't know what I was thinking, as I used to own that card.

Killebrew was a bonus baby who saw very limited action those first two years, and seemed destined to require more minor league seasoning. He's somewhat lucky to have a 1958 card as well, as he only saw action in 9 big league games in 1957.
