Default Birmingham Pre War Sports Card Auction open for bidding

Thought I would give a shout out to the upcoming Birmingham Auction (Scott Russell, on here as Aquarian Sports Cards) that is now open. Over 600 PreWW2 lots, many of them individual cards in collector condition, both graded and raw.

I have some cards consigned, so sue me, but I am happy to see that an auction house catering almost strictly to the collector is doing well and expanding the size and scope of their vintage offerings. And that is good for both buyer and consignor. And I am/will be a bidder as well...a lot of variety for the scattershot collector in me.

Here is a link to the auction:

Default Go!

This is an outstanding selection for the collector grade prewar stuff I collect.
I will be competing in this auction.
Gosh, why am I saying all this...it’s gonna cost me money!

Aw, maybe cuz Scott seems like a great guy, I like old baseball cards and I need to boost my post count.

The day this auction ends is the day after my wedding anniversary, (28 years) so I will have 364 days to apologize for overspending.
Whoot!!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I am trying to come up with a slogan that expresses the collector focus of my auctions. Upper Deck unfortunately trademarked The Collector's Choice. If anyone has a killer idea I'll come up with some kind of reward/prize.

I believe this slogan is closely associated with the one I came up with earlier:

"Collector Schmellector"

I've never applied to big with an auction house before. Just registered and hope I'm approved! I saw a couple of low-end items I'm certainly interested in.

I like edgy, funny.

For plenty of online hits from people thinking they were getting one thing...but ended with another:

'Dirty Little Bits of Paper'
