Default Tonight: E101 Harry Bemis, SGC 50

For auction is an E101 ballcard of Harry Bemis, Cleveland. Graded SGC 50. For those who care about such things, this is one of two at this grade, with only one graded higher by SGC. Wow. (If you'd like a higher-res scan, I'll be happy to e-mail you one.)

Bidding ends at 10 p.m. Eastern on Monday, March 15, 2010. No bids time-stamped after 10:00 p.m. on March 15 will be valid. If two bids for identical amounts are placed at the same time on the same date, the first bid placed is the valid one. Bidding starts at $50; subsequent bids should be made in minimum increments of $5. No e-mailed bids; all bids must be posted on this thread.

Payment can be made by check, money order or PayPal. Shipping will be $3.

Any questions, feel free to pass them along.

Thanks, Rob

Leon,

Because this isn't a Federal League item, I was a little surprised you bid on it at all.

Alas, since it was a penultimate card we decided we would make a strong run for it. In the end our financial strength was overpowered by a whale

Wink me a whale?

Gee Leon. Me a whale? I guess that's the sweetest thing anyone has ever called me.

Best wishes,

Joe

This was a very viscous competition for this card. Probably because of its tenure as a part of the Rob D. Collection.
