My vintage player website...tell me what you think.
Posted By: Wade
I rarely post on this site but I have been an avid reader since the "old board." Because I only collect one player I rarely have anything to add to the conversation but I have followed along these last several years intently and with great enjoyment. I knew very little about vintage cards prior when I first found this site and the wealth of knowledge on this board is unbelievable. |

Thanks everyone. I worked hard on the site and I can't tell you how much research I did on him over the years. It is funny how you can get wrapped up in a player from so long ago. Leon, I love that Drum; if you ever get rid of it let me know. |

It seems like you put a lot of work into it. I like the graphics and layout, but why don't you spend a few bucks and register www.harrywolter.com? It would be easier to remember and look better than using a free site with ads, I think that detracts. |

To follow up on what Robert said, I created my Web site using FreeWebs, then decided I wanted a certain url, which was available. It's really easy to buy an address and then have it redirect to your existing FreeWebs site, which is what I did. You can do it all through FreeWebs, though you don't have to. It all depends on how comfortable you are with this sort of thing. You'll pay a bit more doing it through FreeWebs, but it walks you through the process step-by-step, so the extra money you pay might be worth it. |

Thanks guys. I thought about upgrading in order to get a better domain name and no ads but after today I'm guessing I'll probably be the only visitor to it. I may upgrade in the future if I can get some more things to add to it. I appreciate the comments and also thanks to those that signed the guestbook...now I won't have to have my brother sign it. |

David- That is a great photo and I thank you for it; I will use it for sure. I have removed the quotation marks around his middle name as I don't believe this was his nickname. |

David-- I believe the artist that sings this version of "Take me out to the Ballgame" is named Raffi, but I'm not 100% sure on that. |

Wade, Nice looking. I like the vintage background on each page.. really adds to the overall feel. The content is exceptional and you should be commended for a job well done. I don't like the background audio but that coud just be me.. congrats, great looking site! |
