Default 1991 Fleer Ultra NFLPA logo variation

If this is too modern for this forum, please feel free to remove it. I just didn't see a specific forum for more modern football cards.

Yes, I bought into a lot of the hype of the late 80's/early 90's "junk" era cards. But even then I was always on the lookout for a different angle to collecting them.
I started noticing 2 distinct sizes of NFLPA logo's on the backs of some of the cards (under the players name). Didn't think much of it at the time, until I started putting sets together to sell back in the day. I started going through all my duplicates, separating them out, BIG logo and small logo cards. I was able to put many complete sets together with the small logos, with tons of dupes. But was never even able to put 1 complete set together with the large logos. To this day I still only have about 1/3 of a complete set of 300.

Is anyone else familiar with these variations?
