** SOLD ** Game Used c. 1920s H & B Baseball Bat / Minor League Player
From the H & B Vaults. Full sized bat, with player name Esrey and the H & Label stamped in. Hard to read sidewriting, but the date 1927 is there. Even has the remnants of the mailing label from when the player mailed it in to H & B. Cracked in the handle with rapairs and bat nails. Shows lots of use, with pine tar remnants on the handle. I originally purchased this as part of a group lot of Pre War game usded minor league bats from MEARS. Dick Esrey played in the lower level minors 1920s-30s, including Corpus Christi, Cedar Rapids, Augusta. He was the only Esrey to play in the minors, making player identification simple. Price is $35 shipped.
