PSA didnt seem to know if this was a W516-1-1 or W516-1-2, so they just called it a W516-1

mine is labeled w516-1-2. pop report only has 7 of them. I blindly paid for it. just trying to figure out what it is actually worth. it is a great card.

They are pretty simple to determine. 1-1's are normal representations of all the players. The 1-2's are reversed images right down to the reversed copyright. I always liked the 1-2's in which Babe Ruth throws right handed and Cobb is a lefty. Alexander is left handed or ambidextrous. At least Clyde Milan's W on his hat works both ways.

I find it interesting that these were so cavalierly printed and issued with no regard for accuracy. I would think even a 6 year old kid would think he got pretty lousy strip of cards for his penny if his heroes were all backwards.

Correct, and the same goes for SGC and BVG. Probably the most mislabeled set, therefore just because it's labeled as -1-2...is the image (and/or copyright symbol) reversed and is the card #9?

I have many examples but here are a few as seen on oldcardboard's site, and they still haven't gotten it right...:
