Let's see some Hank Aaron cards!
We haven't had one of these threads in awhile, but they always seem to produce some great cards! Unfortunately, I don't have any Aaron cards of my own to share since I'm still working on that Topps Mantle run, but I'd love to see what you guys have!

I'm not a big fan of the look of the 1954 Topps set as a whole, but the '54 Aaron has always been one of my favorite cards!

Baseball Magazine supplement
I love these things. If anybody has any different Aaron poses, I would be interested in a trade or purchase.

Beat-up Rookie and signed 1970 Topps
Gotta love the 'Hammer"! This beater rookie is all I can afford, and I had the pleasure of meeting Hank in person in the late '90's and he graciously signed a ball and this Topps A/S card for me. Sorry about the blurry scans.

Here are a few oddball items of Hammerin' Hank: a 1964 Wheaties stamp, a 1969 Kahn's card and three glorious photos clipped from Sport magazines in the late 50s or early 60s ...

Scott, I love those too! I sure wish they would have paid the licensing fees so they all didn't have blank helmets and hats on. Jeff |

HR log
This is a pamphlet that shows the date, inning, men on base, opponent, and pitcher for all of Hank's home runs from #1 - #701. Then it has blanks for the owner to fill in numbers 702 - 715. It also has a lot of information about Hank's life and career, and a brief bio about the Babe.
It came from a friend in a card collecting group, who is a BIG fan of the Hammer. It's one of my favorite pieces. |
