Dodgers Team Ball ('54?) Clubhouse? Stamped?
A gentleman brought this to me inquiring as to the value, and looking to resell it. My experience with 50's team balls is pretty limited, but even at first glance it looks questionable to me. No production markings on the ball. Any opinions?

judging by the scans, it looks like a stamped ball. Could be around 56 since it has Ken Lehman on it.

Definitely a ballpark-sold printed ball.

Definitely a stamped ball. Should be a 1956 as that was both Jackie Robinson and Karl Spooners last year.

Absolutely stamped, not clubhouse...

Notice how Ed Roebuck goes right into the laces--a dead giveaway also.

Without any doubt a stamped ball.

Dodgers ball
Yes the ball is a stamped or what is known as a facsimile ball. The hide would be laid out flat then stamped with the players autos then stitched up. That is why you sometimes see the stitches thru the autographs. The ball still has a value and a good range would be from 50-150 as yours looks to be in nice shape. Hope that helps you.

Thank you all very much for the opinions. It's nice having this group of experts to confirm your thoughts, especially (sadly) when it's bad news. I'll share each comment with him to help him decide what to do with the ball.
